IT SSHOCKS PROJECT

Project funded under the POR MARCHE FESR 2021/2027 - ASSE 1 - OS 1.1 - AZIONE 1.1.1 - Intervention 1 - Incentives to enterprises for collaborative industrial research and experimental development activities in the areas of the Regional Strategy for Smart Specialisation

The project intends to study and develop a new eco-sustainable, highly energy-efficient smart system for the kitchen of the future, integrating a hob-oven-cupboard station and a hot and cold beverage station, both highly innovative compared to the state of the art and based on state-of-the-art induction heating technologies. The system, managed by a single intelligent centralised controller with evolved Energy Management functions dedicated to the collection, monitoring and intelligent control of instantaneous energy consumption and loads, will integrate second-life green materials and original constituent solutions capable of giving it unprecedented features to hinder bacterial proliferation. The numerous elements of originality and innovativeness that characterise the System in question, intended for the professional-consumer sphere, will be studied and developed by the partner companies in the chain: Simonelli Group Spa, Elica Spa, Delta Srl and Mac Srl.

POR MARCHE FESR 2014/2020 - AXIS 8 - SO 20 - Azione 20.1 - INTERVENTION 20.1.1 AND AXIS 1 - SO 2 - INTERVENTION 2.1.1 - SUPPORT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A TECHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH PLATFORM

COLLABORATIVE IN EARTHQUAKE-AFFECTED AREAS - AREA: SUSTAINABLE MANUFACTURING - THEMATIC AREAS

ECO-SUSTAINABILITY OF PRODUCTS AND PROCESSES FOR NEW MATERIALS AND DEMANUFACTURING

  • The action is aimed at supporting the implementation of a collaborative research platform of strategic importance for the revitalization of the productive fabric of the areas affected by the earthquakefocused on the application of functional technological solutions to the development drivers of the territory, with lasting and sustainable industrial effects in terms of modernization and diversification of processes, products and services.
  • The platform that will be launched with this call is part of the "Sustainable Manufacturing" with reference to some specific thematic areas of intervention identified in the Strategy for Research and Innovation for smart specialization, such as "Eco-sustainability of products and processes for new materials". and "Demanufacturing".

Objectives notice:

The MARLIC project, the acronym of "Marche Applied Research Laboratory for Innovative Composites", has as its objective the creation of a LABORATORY FOR RESEARCH AND INNOVATION APPLIED TO COMPOSITES and is attached to the 4th platform of the Marche Region, which finances this project on the themes of eco-sustainability and new materials.

It is a vast partnership, made up of 27 subjects, led by the lead company HP Composites, leader in the production of components in composite materials, together with 21 other companies in the Marche region:

HP Composites-Delta-Linset-3P Engineering-Teknochim-F.lli Guzzini-Eta Blades-Nano-Tech-Ubaldi- Prefiniti Simon-Save As- Maila's-Nuova Simonelli-Diamonte-CARNJ FILENI-Elantas-Simeg marbles-Sios and Scatolificio TS-Rock and River-Albertani

5 research centres

  • the University of Camerino as Scientific Responsible and leader of the MARLIC LABORATORY
  • the Marche Polytechnic University,
  • the University of Urbino,

two prestigious research centers such as:

  • ENEA
  • CNR

The Fondazione Cluster Marche, will have the role of disseminator of research results.

This partnership deals with several lines of research.

La 1st line whose leader is UNICAM is the constitution of a MARLIC chemical laboratory based in Camerino that will become a regional reference on the subject of composite materials, which will be available to companies in the Marche region and beyond, whose function will be to provide solutions to problems on materials.

La 2nd line will aim to carry out 2 different projects but with various points of contact on sustainable manufacturing:

1. Eco-and bio-sustainability of products led by HP Composite

2. De-manufacturing of composite materials led by Delta

Which will be followed by other project lines such as the

3. Technology transfer line and

4. and dissemination of results.

The company Deltawithin the Platform, is responsible for the research project on the theme of De-manufacturing, which deals with sustainable manufacturing from the perspective of a circular economy approach in the field of composite materials.

In this regard, the ultimate goal of the project is to create a value chain between composite producers and their companies with waste processing technology.

Delta, as lead partner, intends to promote with partner companies:

  • the knowledge of the state of the art in terms of processing technologies for thermosetting composite scraps and
  • solving the problem of landfilling thermosetting composite materials.
  • Sustainability assessment environmental through the LCA study of each processing technology, but also the assessment of sustainability cheap.

This is an excellent opportunity to compare and share good practices at national level in order to stimulate:

  • a knowledge of the state of the art in the world of composites
  • a discussion with the industrial world of composites in the Marche region
  • explore new perspectives for collaboration.
