L'circular economy<\/strong> is the economic model based on the environmental sustainability<\/strong> and social and is realised through the recycling and regenerationone of goods<\/strong>. The circular economic model was born as an alternative to traditional methods out of the realisation that the planet's resources are running out and that sustainable development is the only one capable of protecting the planet and ensuring a future for the generations following ours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The circular economy makes it possible to reduce wastage of resources, reduce polluting emissions, and increase companies' commitment to research and innovation in order to design products that will last.
The foundations of the circular economy are as follows:

- Reducing environmental impact<\/strong> through the use of rinnovabile or recycled raw materials;
- Extensione of product life cycle<\/strong>;
- Recovery and recycling of raw material and production wasteone<\/strong>.

In this article, we want to take a closer look at the leading role that production waste can play in the circular economy.

One of the most exciting challenges posed by the circular economy concerns precisely the possibility of valorising production waste and considering it as a 'resource' to be fed into the production process<\/strong>.

The management of production waste is an issue for all production sectors. Through the circular economy one wants to create a kind of industrial symbiosis<\/strong>a process that allows different production sectors to come together and see if the waste from one sector can be useful to another, thus avoiding disposal and the costs and time it requires<\/strong>.

In this regard, Plados Telma<\/a><\/strong> and Simonelli Group<\/a><\/strong>have realised an example of an industrial symbiosis project: https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=5Cu8hOwZR94<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The companies, both engaged in a process of corporate sustainability<\/a><\/strong>have shown how it is also possible to bring together their respective industry know-how to achieve innovative results<\/strong> and transformare the manufacturing sector into a sustainable one.

Another interesting project inspired by the principles of recycling production waste was recently presented by Plados Telma.
These are Rinnova<\/a><\/strong>, a sink that is green at the origin, made from recycled organic and inorganic raw materials, and not from virgin raw material. The result is a sink with the 90% by componenti green that keeps unaltered its performance of strength and aesthetic appeal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
